The book deals with characteristics of Solid State Nuclear Track Detectors (SSNTD), track techniques and their various applications. Spark counting of track method and instrumentation are considered in detail. SSNTD applications in nuclear fission physics, radon measurements, neutron dosimetry and spectrometry, alpha-radiometry, isotope analysis and autoradiography are described.
